Re: As I was leaving
Well Chubz I have to say that you are more mature in your post than Roy Macavoy was in his. I've noticed too that here lately you have done better with not trying to argue with everyone and make posts just to start an arguement. Good Post made by you, cause I believe he wanted to get you all upset over something stupid and you didn't let him.

For someone as GREAT at golf as you, *chuckle* why are you playing at coeburn [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, considering we have 3 choices when it comes to golf in Wise Co. (Dan Hall, Raven Rock, or Cedar Hill if you're up for a drive).
Playing a [censored] course is better than not playing at all.

Re: As I was leaving
Wow, all that I can say is that more than half of what you sat there and typed up was useless and had nothing to do with what I had originally posted.
It was obvious that you were down there passing, I never once said anything bad about your throwing techniques or questioned how good you felt about your passing.
[ QUOTE ]
The forms were actually for my brother who will be playing JV football. He's probably going to be playing as a Wide Receiver.. I'm proud of him and wish him the best of luck, especially once he moves on up to Varsity.
[/ QUOTE ]
And as I had originally posted "Refresh my memory if I am incorrect, but I do believe that second in line behind Chubz on those polls, was indeed you on the most annoying poster one! And I actually think that the physical forms that Chubz Sr. had was for his other son, who apparently is not lacking in testicular fortitude." As I said, for your brother, and also as I said, actually has b a l l s enough to get out there and play. You can say S.A.D. this and S.A.D. that, but the fact of the matter is you didn't have the b a l l s to get out there and do what it takes to be a high school football player. And even if you did, after all the [censored] that you talked about the program, you would have probably been scared off by the people who you pissed off with what you said in the past. If I ever thought that I was that good at doing something, I would get out and show people what I had, not sit around and spout off about it on a public forum.
[ QUOTE ]
My brother can actually throw a pretty nice spiral and has a good arm, too, so maybe I can help him with a few things and he may be able to see a few Quarterbacking days in the future, although as of now he doesn't seem to be expressing any interest in the QB position. (He's mentioned it a few times, but seems to enjoy kicking/receiving moreso than anything else.)
[/ QUOTE ]
I wish your brother the best, whatever position it is that he plays. But for you to say that with your help he may possibly see some quarterbacking days in his future, I'm going to go ahead and call bull-s hit on that one. You pass with your dad and your brother, and whomever else that you may happen to pass with. Big deal, just because you can throw a good ball doesn't mean that you're going to be able to do that with pads on and people coming after you like a suicide bomber. Sure, I may be able to drive fast around here, but that doesn't mean that I can go jump in a racecar and have a good raceday. But good luck anyways to the sibling.
And yes, that would have been the best thing that I could have done at the football field, with the team practicing on one end, people in the stands watching their kids practice, would have been for me to come up to you and gave you my opinion. You're the one who said to me one time that you would love to meet me out in public (and not for friendly talk either). What good would that have done me, or you, with me voicing my opinion?
Plus, I never once said that you should be banned from the field. I said that if I would have been one of the players and realized who you were, something would have happened, and you would have been in your backyard throwing. There is a sense of pride, respect, and love that develops within a team after busting your [censored] in the weightroom with them all winter and spring, and then through the hot 3-a-days. A sense of brotherhood is developed, and when something is said about one of your brothers, it affects everyone. Anyone on here that has ever played (and gave a [censored]) when they played can tell you this. And for someone to down a team so much and then be on THEIR field? That would not have floated with me and my teammates.

Which means that my post hit home.

Re: As I was leaving
He basically just reiterated his original post with a few tid-bits here and there.
I believe he took many things the wrong way. I'll just go ahead and quote some of his things to kind of clarify what I'm trying to say:
[ QUOTE ]
It was obvious that you were down there passing, I never once said anything bad about your throwing techniques or questioned how good you felt about your passing.
[/ QUOTE ]
I never said you DID, I was just commenting on how I felt about my passing with no relations to you what-so-ever.
[ QUOTE ]

I just honestly have no interest anymore in terms of getting out there and playing. I would love it, yes, but the interest in terms of getting out there and making it happen has basically faded away.. I just prefer taking it easy and passing whenever I have the chance. Too much time has gone by; to put it bluntly: I've waited too long. Far too long.
I've been asked many times by kids younger for my brother and I to play a simple two-hand touch game, and I decline just about every one of those simply because I would rather pass back and forth than actually play.. if that makes any sense, which it probably doesn't, but that's just how my mind works. "Different strokes for different folks."
But yes, I do still love the Quarterbacking position and the elements it consists of, etc., and yes I will continue to watch and love football as a sport.
[ QUOTE ]

That's true, but you can learn many things off of the field or not in official practices or games that would be helpful when on the field, too. You can't sit here and tell me that learning to throw better wouldn't improve your ability to throw effectively and accurately as a QB as opposed to NEVER working to develop that skill when not being told to actually practice with the team. Anything extra would help, I'm sure.
If he's going to be a receiver, for example, we'll probably spend more time passing TO him instead of throwing the ball back and forth.. letting him run routes, for example, and having me throw to him. Sure, it's not during an OFFICIAL practice and it isn't during an OFFICIAL game, but it can't hurt to develop better hand-eye-coordination and other skills such as that.

I would actually prefer if you WOULDN'T say anything, but after implying that I don't play because I "don't have the b a l l s", I find it funny that you "don't have the b a l l s" to converse with me.

Now THAT I can understand, and yes I do feel a bit guilty passing on the field after questioning the program on here publicly, and many of the players actually know about it and I feel bad about that, but hey, people make mistakes and I'm no exception. The players can hate me all they want, and I personally can't blame them. If I was on the team and someone who wasn't playing complained, I'd be pretty hot headed too.. I wouldn't be happy, to say the least.
With that said, though, I will still continue to pass down there, and I will never disrupt their practice in any way what-so-ever. I'm just down there passing on the field because it's the best place in my opinion and really gets me in the mood to pass. I don't go down there PURPOSELY aiming to distract the players, or to rub my comments into their faces or anything such as that.. I'd never have those intentions. I pass football because I love to pass football.
Example: I'll pass down at Bullitt Park for hours even when nobody is there except for us three.

Re: As I was leaving
So I learned from that post that you are a [censored], and will never play football. You love to throw a football, you will not play two hand touch with little kids (and we wonder why the youth of America is so big these days: PC's and no exercise) You love to quarterback, and you can't seem to realize that throwing the ball around with your brother and actually doing it in a game situation are very different. Believe me Chubz, I'm not lacking in the testicular fortitudeness to talk to you, and as I said before, you pm'd me one time saying that "it's no longer a game..this is getting serious...I would love to meet you out town..etc", I'm pretty sure that my 10 year old brother could take you.
But keep on passing, maybe it will get you..wait a minute, that's not going to get you anywhere, just going to pass your time away. I could care less whether you passed at Carl McConnell, Bullitt Park, wherever, the original intent of my post was just saying that I as a player would not tolerate it. Roy out

Roy, I think you are lower than any worm that has ever crawled upon this earth. And you are a slimesucking lowlife who indulges his own miscommings by putting down others. Here's hoping you will see the light and get your life turned around before somebody knocks the mortal crap out of you! [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]
